Schedule |
The mandated state holiday schedule as listed in the State
Personnel Board Handbook follows. It is within the discretion of the Legislature to allow
additional days for any of the listed holidays. Specific dates for these holidays will be
posted on the Commission Business Schedule page as they approach.

Armistice (Veteran's) Day |
A day fixed by
proclamation by the Governor of Mississippi as a day of
Thanksgiving, which shall be fixed to correspond to the date proclaimed by
the President of the United States: |

| Provided, however, that in the event any holiday hereinbefore
declared legal shall fall on Saturday or Sunday, then the following Monday shall be a
legal holiday. |
